Another Bonus episode during our season break. May is Mental Health Awareness Month and I wanted to be sure to share with you all some content that would address taboo mental health myths. On this episode we are busting down 5 myths as it relates to the mental health of the melanin millennial community.
Bio: Dominique Walker is a 27 year old Los Angeles native and Ph.D student at Syracuse University where she will be working towards her Ph.D in Marriage and Family Therapy starting this fall, on a full ride scholarship and graduate assistantship. She currently is the host of the She and Psych Podcast, a spin off of her blog also titled She and Psych. She is a heavy mental health advocate and all about keeping young millennials in the know about mental health and how to live and love their best life while maintaining a healthy mental well being
