Looking after numerous nieces and nephews and working in daycare centers made Treka a natural caregiver, and she always knew she was called to motherhood. Once she was able to become a foster parent, she did not hesitate to welcome any child into her home. Fostering eventually lead to adoption, a transition that required Treka and her children to rely on each other above all else.
