Frederik Gregaard 

A native of Denmark, Frederik has worked in the professional services and financial sector in Switzerland and Scandinavia for 17 years, with a special focus on capital markets, digital asset management, private banking, and trading infrastructure. Prior to joining the Cardano Foundation, Frederik headed the Digital Financial Services division and Experience Center at PwC Switzerland, where he advised regulators and financial services providers on the value of blockchain, helping them build digital business models. Frederik has developed and operated OTC exchanges, managed liquidity pools, high-frequency trading systems, and infrastructure for more than 200 external clients.

Cardano Foundation

Cardano is a social & financial operating system based on blockchain technology, a platform to build new technologies, discover new ways to interact and create new ways to work. Cardano's goal is to build a protocol that was orders of magnitude more environmentally friendly than Bitcoin and other proof of work (PoW) blockchains, while also providing the security and decentralization required to power the financial and social operating system of the future.
