IFC has partnered with HSBC to launch the Real Economy Green Investment Opportunity Fund (REGIO). It is the first global green bond fund targeting "real economy" issuers in emerging markets. It is expected to catalyze up to $700 million in multilateral and private sector capital, largely through green bonds issued by non-financial, or real sector, companies.
