We spoke with Thomas Schelesny, visual effects supervisor for Image Engine, who created Drogon the dragon for the loot train sequence in Game of Thrones season 7 episode 4, "Spoils of War." Schelesny helped us understand how CGI integrates with practical effects to make it look like Daenerys and her dragon are decimating the Lannister lines.
