Skeptics and many church people find prayer so-so or a waste of time. Prayer may find its way into the cold-hearted when an airplane they are in loses power and dives at 30,000 feet. Others find prayer comforting and hope for the best but don't expect much. Many in church appreciate socials, worship music, and classes but find prayer uninteresting and boring.
