Under the Spell is a series of bonus minisodes about the portrayal of historical events in popular culture. Since the proshot version of Hamilton, the runaway hit Broadway musical, is going to be available to stream starting July 3rd, we thought we'd take this opportunity to chat about the criminally overlooked Eliza Hamilton, wife of the titular Alexander Hamilton. Eliza Hamilton was an accomplished activist and philanthropist and her story is worth telling, too.
