The well-written novel transports readers on a journey. The narrative deserves praise due to its being so flawless. The writing is clear and simple to grasp. It is admirable that there is such a strong sense of patriotism for India, and the thorough research makes the tale credible by truly drawing the reader in. The novel does a good job of capturing the officers' work environments, cultures and intelligence. The story was prolonged in places where it may not have been necessary. If several chapters had been omitted that weren't required, it may have been much more entertaining.
