Getting sued doesn't mean you're a bad doctor. It's also not a matter of guilt or lack of it. A medical malpractice suit is a civil case where the plaintiff and their attorney is trying to convince the jury or your malpractice company that there was enough evidence to claim that the physician's actions or lack of it could have somehow led to the negative outcomes the patient is claiming.

I love this book because of how it puts things into perspective.
