Growing up I started off loving to read, pretend play, and always exploring around me to learn something new. All this came to a halt after a series of events often associated with bullying.  I had a hard time with the school system. 

Adults were mean to me and i did get picked on by other students as well. I was a very tiny little girl, with a soft presence, I wouldn't talk very much, and just enjoyed life.  My spirit was broken from the rush and rudeness towards me.

 I had to quickly learn how to protect myself against abusive words and sometimes even physical pushing. It was so intimidating for someone older than me to yell in my face and push me over with one finger. I was a small little girl in age and size. 

It wasn't fun at all to experience these threats.  For some reason I found myself in these sorts of situations, more often than I would have liked. The hopelessness came from not having anyone to tell or having anyone to stand up for me. I was alone.
