I am back from Black Romance Book Fest --it was life-changing!  That said, I share. the logistics from pre-orders to table sales and talk about why transparency about book event finances matters for authors considering their first festival, how pre-orders work, what sold best and why I hope the event doesn't get too big and lose its family reunion feel. I share my real numbers and why it was still worth every penny.  

I catch you up on my reading challenge progress, what I read in May and June (18 books total), plus I've got 13 books in my "read or release" pile that desperately need attention. 

I have a WIP!  WOOT! I'm deep into revising "Missing Persons," my upcoming romantic mystery. " It's heavy on romance, light on suspense, with lots of Atlanta locations you'll recognize. I also talk about my fanfiction update "Music of My Heart" - a JC Chasez story.
