ABOUT HOLLY PRUE
I was born and raised in the PNW. I've been married since 2011 and have 3 kiddos and 2 dogs. I always loved reading and writing as a kid, but didn't let it become my entire personality until my 30s. I'm a neurospicy queen with a side of depression and anxiety, which is something that I'm very open about on my Bookstagram page, and often features in my writing. I started my Bookstagram in the summer of 2022 as a way to connect with other readers and also find my footing as an aspiring author. I've found an incredibly supportive community and discovered so many wonderful authors over the last 2 years.

Our absolute number one goal is to have a great time full of laughter by escaping the responsibilities of the outside world for a bit. We cover a wide range of books from YA to dark romance, whatever catches our eye. While you don’t have to read the book before listening, we do recommend it to both support the author and enjoy the struggle of retelling and summarizing these wild books!

Callie was introduced to the world of fantasy in elementary school, when she began reading Harry Potter. Being a quiet introvert, she grew up escaping to worlds of vampires, fae, and more. As an adult, she runs her own podcast production business full-time and that’s where Book & Bottle was born. She’s a sucker for a good morally gray love triangle, doesn’t shy away from the bolder kinks, and loves challenging conventional norms of good and evil.
ABOUT HOLLY
Holly wasn’t the biggest fan of reading growing up, so she found her way into fantasy through movies. From The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia, Holly realized this was a fantastic world to get lost in. As Holly and Callie began spending more and more time together, Callie would share plots of the wild books she was reading with Holly and that’s where Book & Bottle derived its inspiration.
