AEW has chosen this episode to observe Dynamite's one year anniversary, but was it worthy of such an occassion? Well, Geoffrey & Paul Sebastian maybe don't think it did, no. Neverminding the pall cast over it by AEW talents being at the Collective and a positive COVID-19 case coming from that debacle, there were some odd booking and storytelling choices, including a feud starting, and a feud continuing, neither of which were entirely necessary. But hey! They finally remembered there's a Women's Champion and she should be defending the title on TV, and we had a fun main event that will hopefully lead into an even more fun main event at Full Gear!
