Hour 1
Yesterday Aaron Rodgers said something that should frighten Jets fans. He was asked if he’s going to play next year and he said, ‘yes’. So they’re going to bring in a new GM and a new coach with Aaron Rodgers? Gio wonders why he would want to go through that. Boomer said because it’s a lot of money, that’s why. Boomer said Jon Gruden would love to work with a QB like Rodgers. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of Aaron Rodgers saying he wants to play next season. The Drew & Stew podcast is taking some heat from Taylor Swift fans after one of the guys said to ‘throw her in the falls’ (Niagara Falls that is). The Knicks lost to the Bulls last night. In the final segment of the hour, Caitlyn Clark was playing at a pro-am and sliced one into the crowd.
Hour 2
Do we really think that Mike Tyson and Jake Paul are fighting for real and not scripted? Gio said it feels like Connor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather. Gio said it’s pro wrestling. We took a ton of calls from people who really want to watch the match and are excited about it. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Kelce brothers talking about NFL players pooping their pants. Jeff Ulbrich is still saying nice things about Aaron Rodgers. Anthony Richardson will start for the Colts against the Jets this weekend. The Knicks lost to the Bulls as Jalen Brunson missed a last second shot. In the final segment of the hour, Gio watched the Netflix documentary series on the Zodiac Killer. Boomer is watching ‘The Diplomat’. Gio and Eddie both like ‘Severence’. Al is watching ‘Investigation Alien’. Eddie is watching ‘Foundation’.
Hour 3
Boomer did another sports minute about Juan Soto even though we made a pact of not talking about him until he actually signed somewhere or there was legitimate news about him. Gio said somewhere here at work, someone is alleging another co-worker stopped talking to them because of the election. We played some of the audio of Al arguing with C-Lo and Al arguing with Jerry. Jerry returns for an update but first Boomer talks about a guy from Maryland who passed away. We get breaking news that Jon Gruden has signed a multi-year deal with Barstool Sports. We heard from John Minko as St. Johns beat Wagner. Hofstra beat Seton Hall and Jerry played the final call from Hofstra student radio. In the final segment of the hour, we talked more about the upcoming Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight.
Hour 4
Rick Pitino joins us on the phone to talk about St. John’s after beating Wagner last night. Rick is coaching against his son, Rich, as they play Mexico State at MSG. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with a reporter asking Aaron Rodgers if he wants to play next season. Jeff Ulbrich talked about getting back to actually tackling this week. In fact, Ulbrich had a ‘tackling presentation’ this week for the team. The Moment of The Day: ‘Poop-a-vich’. In the final segment of the show, Keith Hernandez’s cat, Hadji, passed away at 22 years old. Keith also responded on X to the pic of him smoking in the dugout. Boomer is having a hard time guessing the top selling NFL jersey as it’s not who you think.
