Hour 1

The Rams beat the Niners last night in a FG game in the rain. Boomer talked about the importance of teams being able to run the ball later in the season during bad weather games. We also had a couple of press conferences yesterday with Juan Soto and Bill Belichick meeting the media. The Giants play the Ravens and Boomer wonders what it costs to get in the game (it’s $33 right now). Jon Gruden was golfing with the Barstool guys and Gio really enjoyed his commentary. Jerry is here for his first update of the day but first we talk about if you should go to work when you’re sick or not. We also got some gifts from sponsors. Juan Soto met the media and talked about why he signed with the Mets. He also said he hasn’t talked to any of his Yankee teammates since the World Series. Bill Belichick said his first words were, ‘Beat Duke’. In the final segment of the hour, former Vikings QB Tommy Kramer responded to Boomer calling Mark Gastineau a ‘dirty cheap shotting son of a bitch’. Kramer responded that it was all part of the game. OJ’s Penthouse magazines from jail are up for auction.

Hour 2

Juan Soto met the media and the reality is he took the best deal. He can say anything he wants about why he chose the Mets, but it was about the money. Boomer thinks the addition of the suite was a big deal even though the Yankees downplayed that. Soto had 4 teams trying to get him and he went to the highest bidder in the end. We also talked about Pete Alonso’s free agency and whether he will be back with the Mets. Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio from the Juan Soto press conference. He was asked about picking the Mets over the Yankees. Soto said the best chances are right here, with the Mets. UNC introduced Bill Belichick and the head coach at NC State is looking forward to beating them every year. The Niners lost to the Rams and Deebo Samuel had a huge drop in the same week he complained about not getting the ball. The Niners had a player that refused to go in the game and instead went to the locker room. Malik Nabers can hit a landmark this week even though the Giants only have 2 wins. Jerry even had some hockey sound for us. The Army head coach talked about Army/Navy which happens this weekend. In the final segment of the hour, a caller is happy Soto didn’t sign with the Yankees and he wants Kyle Tucker instead.

Hour 3

The woman who accused the Duke lacrosse players of rape, Crystal Magum, confessed to lying about that. She says she found religion and wanted to come clean. Boomer knew one of the families and talked about all they went through for 5 years and how it followed them because a lot of people only hear the accusation and don’t follow the story all the way through. We then took calls on Juan Soto and the Yankees offseason so far. We talked more about the Yankees not giving suites to their players. We also got into a long conversation about guys ‘being in the hopper’ for shows at WFAN. Like Boomer at one point was ‘in the hopper’, but he doesn’t believe that. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Steve Cohen from the Juan Soto press conference. Juan Soto said thank you to Yankee fans and Jerry interspersed that with fans furious with him for bolting. Bill Belichick met the media at UNC and Kliff Kingsbury said he’ll believe it when he actually sees him on the sideline. Last night, a LB on the Niners refused to go in the game and George Kittle called it selfish. In the final segment of the hour, Gio said he listens to happy music on the way home on Fridays only. Gio recalls meeting Dua Lipa that time although he said he sort of blacked out and can’t remember all the details.

Hour 4

We talked about the Drone/UPA stuff going on in NJ and Gio said they have started showing up on Long Island. We went through all the updates from yesterday when the White House Press Secretary told us there’s nothing to see here. Jerry returns for an update but first Boomer said Daniel Penny is going to the Army/Navy game ...
