Hour 1

Boomer hopes that the Jets let Aaron Glenn hire his own staff. Based on some of the names out there, Boomer’s not so sure that’s happening. Keyshawn Johnson, who was a teammate of Glenn while on the Jets, said there is no way he’s bringing Aaron Rodgers back. Jerry is here for his first update of the day, and starts with Liam Coen doing an about face and will become the head coach in Jacksonville. Washington’s defensive coordinator talked about treating Jalen Hurts like a RB and hitting him that way. The KC defense talked about the threat of Josh Allen. Amari Cooper was asked if he’s satisfied with the amount of catches he’s been getting. Jerry went around the NBA last night. The Rangers beat the Flyers so Boomer is happy. In the final segment of the hour, Pete Alonso is supposedly deep into talks with the Toronto Bluejays. He’s a fan favorite, but perhaps he’s not a favorite in the locker room. Who knows?

Hour 2

The National Championship game between Notre Dame and Ohio State didn’t have as many viewers as expected. That could be because while it was happening, Trump was doing a press conference where he was taking questions. It also wasn’t a very close game most of the way. Boomer thinks Jalen Hurts is hanging onto the ball too long, the same way Sam Darnold did his last 2 games. Hurts does not look like the QB who had a great performance in the Super Bowl a few years ago. Jerry returns for an update, but first Gio said if Saquon Barkley wins a Super Bowl, this will officially be the worst season in the Giants 100 year history. Brian Schottenheimer will likely be the next Cowboys coach and maybe Rex Ryan will be the defensive coordinator. Andy Reid is looking forward to the challenge of playing Buffalo. Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward did their best Boomer & Phil Simms impression as they talked to each other about each other. Joe Benigno wants Pete Alonso back and he blames Stearns and Cohen. He also said, ‘screw Vlad Guerrero, I want my guy’. We heard audio of Ohtani’s interpreter calling a bank pretending to be Ohtani looking for a $200,000 withdrawal. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer heard a sports argument in the hallways in the 5am hour. Gio is ashamed to say, he was part of the argument, which he hates. He was arguing with C-Mac about his takes on the Commanders/Lions game.

Hour 3

It looks like Rob Saleh is going back to San Francisco. Gio wonders if Aaron Glenn should call Saleh for advice on coaching for the Jets. Boomer said he should not. The Saints, Raiders and Cowboys still need head coaches. Is Pete Carroll getting one of these jobs? A woman who lives in Orchard Park calls in to give a Buffalo Bills report. She has 4 feet of snow in her driveway. Gio is not impressed with Sean McDermott. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Jalen Hurts talking about the Washington defense. Tom Brady talked about what you need to succeed in the NFL and he’s referencing Jayden Daniels. Patrick Mahomes talked about having to play your best football in the biggest moments. Josh Allen is confident in being able to win in KC. Stephen A. Smith was on the Howard Stern Show and talked about being more popular than the athletes he covers. Billy Wagner got emotional at the press conference for the Hall of Fame. Ichiro would like to have a drink with the one person who didn't vote for him. The Rangers beat the Flyers which Boomer loves. In the final segment of the hour, Gio saw a car on fire on the L.I.E on his way in. Gio wonders how a car catches fire on a highway. Hour 4

Gio has stopped believing ‘this is the year’, as he’s been burned by that many times. People are saying that now about the Bills. They said it about the Lions before last week.
