Welcome to The Booster Pack — a show that covers TCG / CCG games & their history.

Our very first episode we talk to the CEO of AEG, John Zinser.

AEG is a huge tabletop company that published boxed board games but they got their start in game publishing with Collectible Card Games. Throughout their time publishing Trading Card Games they published titles such as Doomtown, Warlord: Saga of the Storm, 7th Sea CCG & Legend of the Five Rings ( L5R )

Today Rands chats to John Zinser, Todd Rowland & Vlad Orellana about the TCGs / CCGs that got AEG off the ground. John shares the details of how he began in the games industry & share the origin story of AEGs most iconic collectible trading card game: Legend of the Five Rings.

Toward the end of the episode John answers some player questions & we play a game to test John's knowledge of the TCG / CCG cards he published all those years ago.
