However, Ephesians 6:11 encourages the Christian to . . . “Put on the whole armour of God” that we . . . “may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” And as an example of endurance, we have Jesus Who both endured the temptations in the wilderness and the sufferings on the cross.
