Today I had the pleasure of talking with Mike McLennan, who is a retired police officer and the founder and president of Boots On The Ground.

Boots on the ground is an anonymous 24/7 peer support resource. They have over 160 current and former first responders, fully trained, who field calls from current or retired police, paramedics, firefighters, nurses and civilians of first responder organizations who may be experiencing  difficulties.
