Screwy polls, campaign promises.

Liberals: Same team different captain. They claim 100 year relationship with the United States is over. Orangeman bad, EU and Asia good. Carney embarrassed by sleaze tactics of staffers, has to apologize. Curiously the elephant in the room, a.k.a. China is not much mentioned. American media see this and is taking note. Canada might take note that Panama got the memo about China from Trump administration.

Conservatives: The ground game going very well but the CBC and other subsidized media stonewalling. CTV pundit panelists calling it Trumpy like, whatever the hell that means. Trying to send positive messages to Washington as administration has hands full with 70 countries that want to negotiate better deals bilaterally. Getting valuable endorsements from police associations, private sector unions and small business groups.

All part of the third week of the Canadian federal election.

The Federal Election in Canada is into its second week. The unelected Liberal Party leader Mark Carney lets it slip he will be meeting President Trump the day after the election as PM. Does he know something the voters don't? The Trump tariffs are imposed in almost total and direct compliance with the USMCA or CUSMA. It known in political circles as a nothing burger.

Joe Rogan won't come to the UFC fights in Canada because he doesn't want to go to dictatorial country. He also believes its a weird place when it comes to elections.

The leader of the Conservative party is wracking up thousands of supporters at his rallies. Yet some polls suggest the the most lackluster and boring Liberal leader that has never held any political office and was a relative unknown to the majority of Canadians is tied or leading in some polls.

Carney Liberals made numerous missteps and engaged in classic misleading. Poilievre Conservatives had great rally turnouts with poor mainstream reporting. Singh NDP was irrelevant this week.

Our view: Real estate tycoon Donald Trump seemingly endorses hedge fund manager Carney and plans to meet him post-election to resolve issues, just 12 hours after Carney damages the US relationship and the President. Result, Trump Derangement Syndrome in Liberal leftist circles and on mainstream media has evaporated. First week suggests that Carney and Trump could do an EU style deal bilaterally. Hedge funds and real estate link together like Ying and Yang.

Election weirdness is just beginning.

Large crowds attend Conservative leader's rallies, but mainstream media ignores them.

Polls are misleading as a result. Gaslighting is rampant.

Canada will go to the polls soon.

Once that is out of the way Canada and the United States will need to stop antagonizing each other. It is not helpful to either party.
