Hello,

I've discovered that being bored is actually a gateway into so much beauty, from being creative and innovative to appreciating the present moment and being content. If you like me and have lived most of your life trying to escape boredom, then you know how much time was wasted and how distracting yourself didn't actually lead to your desired fulfillment. I believe God made us as creatures who work but also rest and be still. Boredom is our opportunity to not only rest but to be restored and rejuvenated for the work we called to be a part of. Press forth into the uncomfortability of boredom, and you will be surprised as to the gift it truly is.
