The idea that great things are built because of glorious spurts of action and events is a false narrative that ruins perfectly good progress for people.
In hindsight when someone's success story is explained, a majority of it is left out, because a majority of it was boring, mundane, and seemingly insignificant things, over long periods of time.
Unfortunately, we just see and hear the movie version which is a distillation of the most dramatic, and glorious moments, along the way. Creating a false premise of how it should be, that screws a lot of people up.
