Immediately after creating Adam and Eve, He told them to be fruitful and multiply. Of all of the different commandments that the Lord gave, we’ve probably kept that one better than any of the rest. We’ve grown from those original two people today to over seven billion and many more that have lived throughout history. So, we’ve done a pretty good job of keeping that commandment. In fact, all of creation is wired to reproduce. So too, as followers of Jesus Christ, we have been commissioned by Jesus to multiply. “Go and make disciples,” he said.
