“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
I’m really glad that Collin and Justin have teamed up with us as we hash through a topic that can sometimes be a sensitive one and yet I think it’s a necessary discussion. Modesty! What does it mean? Why should we be modest? Or maybe it’s not a big deal if we are modest? Who should be modest? Should only women be modest, or can it also be applicable to men? And how should we be modest? Is modesty just an outward showing or is there something deeper? What does the Bible have to say about modesty and appropriateness that go hand in hand?  Â
Bible verses: 1 Timothy 2; Romans 12:1; Exodus 20:25-26; Proverbs 22:17; Romans 14; Jeremiah 6:15
Jesus Christ died for your sin.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
Admit you are a sinner and believe on Jesus to be your Savior.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
