  • 20 Ways to Elevate

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode!

In this episode of The BOSS BABE BLOG Podcast, we’re talking about 20 ways you can elevate your quality of life starting at $0.

This episode is a play off of our blog, “✨ 20 Ways to Elevate Your Quality of Life ✨,” where we explore practical ways to begin making changes without waiting until you have a large budget.

Read the original blog here: https://bossbabeblogsquare.wordpress.com/2026/07/14/✨-20-ways-to-elevate-your-quality-of-life-✨/

Let’s be clear: this conversation is not suggesting that you should never invest in yourself. There will absolutely be times when investing your money, resources, education, environment, wellness, business, or personal development can help you reach another level.

But you don’t have to wait until you have money to START.

Sometimes elevation begins with what you already have access to: changing your habits, protecting your time, exploring new opportunities, learning something new, changing your environment, setting boundaries, using available resources, and becoming more intentional about the life you’re building.

These 20 ideas are meant to be a starting point—not a replacement for investment.

The goal is to encourage you to explore your options, recognize what is already within your reach, and understand that you can begin creating movement before you have everything figured out.

If you’ve been telling yourself, “I’ll start when I can afford it,” this episode may give you a different perspective.

Start where you are. Explore your options. Use what you have. And when the time comes to invest, make intentional investments that support where you’re going.

  • They’re NOT Blunt - They’re your HATER.

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode!

The BOSS BABE BLOG Podcast is back with a conversation about honesty, communication, ego, and the difference between being “blunt” and simply being cruel.

Sometimes people aren’t being honest with you—they’re intentionally being hurtful because they’re hurting inside. Sometimes they draw attention to you because they crave attention for themselves. And sometimes they’re communicating from ego instead of communicating for effectiveness.

Let’s be clear: honesty is important. But honesty does not require cruelty.

You can be direct without being disrespectful. You can tell someone the truth without using sarcasm at their expense. You can address an issue privately, communicate effectively, and focus on getting the best possible result instead of saying whatever feels good in the moment.

And calling someone “sensitive” because they reacted to an inconsiderate, self-centered, or oblivious delivery doesn't automatically make your communication appropriate.

This episode is also a reminder to be careful around people who proudly label themselves as “blunt.” Being honest is one thing. Making cruelty part of your communication style is something entirely different.

If someone repeatedly chooses to embarrass you, provoke you, mock you, or make communication about themselves instead of the issue they claim to be addressing, pay attention. There may be genuine resentment behind their behavior—or there may not. They may have an unresolved issue with you that they haven't actually communicated.

Either way, you don't have to participate in the performance.

Healthy communication gives people an opportunity to understand, respond, and move forward. Cruel communication often leaves the other person wondering why the conversation became an opportunity to hurt them.

So ask yourself: Are you communicating because you genuinely want the best result—or because saying it feels good to your ego?

And when someone communicates with you this way, don't automatically accept their label of “blunt” as an excuse. Watch their pattern, consider their delivery, and recognize the difference between someone telling you something difficult because they care about the outcome and someone using “honesty” as permission to be unkind.

Truth can be direct without being cruel.

  • I’m Not Playin With You…..

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode!

The BOSS BABE BLOG Podcast is where we have real conversations about business, mindset, boundaries, self-worth, and knowing the value of what you bring to the table.

In this episode, I’m talking about why we’re not playing with people who already know our worth but still expect us to tap dance for their attention, explain ourselves repeatedly, or perform for an audience before they make a decision.

They already know what they need to do. Sometimes, they’re simply dancing around it because they assume we don’t recognize how valuable our own time is.

    But we do.

Going forward, the challenge is simple: give people the direct information they need to move forward, answer the questions that matter, and let them make their choice from there.

No unnecessary tap dancing. No chasing. No convincing.

Know your value. Respect your time. Give people the information—and let them decide what they want to do with it.

And if you’re ready to get around people who support you on your journey to knowing your worth, honoring your time, and recognizing the value you bring, visit bossbabeblog.com to shop our solutions or consider joining the BOSS BABE BLOG business directory.

Sometimes, knowing your worth also means getting in the right rooms with the right people.
