Once upon a time there was a girl who lived in a beautiful, perfect castle with all her favorite things. She went to sleep with them every night and woke up to them every morning. But one day a magical fairy named Life told her if she let go of those things, she could have better things that she'd love even more than the things she had now. She didn't know what to do at first, but eventually she started to lose some of her favorite things without even trying. Each night she went to sleep with less and less things, but each day she woke up realizing she'd made it through the night. So finally, she let go of her old things one by one.
