(Bloomberg) The World Economic Forum is citing water scarcity as the primary global concern this year and beyond. The biggest use for water? Not your home. It's producing and finding the energy to make it run. From coal and nuclear power plants to fracking for oil and gas, the world's dirtiest, sometimes deadliest, water is created. Enter 6-year-old Oasys Water, a Boston-based startup that says it's created a new way to clean abused industrial wastewater with something called "forward osmosis." Bloomberg's Rachel Layne reports.
