Two men, aged 40 and 43, attempted to carjack a 48-year-old father at knifepoint outside an elite Kew school in Melbourne. The offenders forced the man from his Mercedes but couldn't start the vehicle, fleeing on foot to hide in nearby bushes for over four hours before being arrested by police. Both men have been charged with carjacking and other offences, while the victim was uninjured but shaken.
