This week we got the honor of having a conversation with Layni Shouse! We recognize that younger kids get the benefit the doubt when it comes to dealing with life during COVID-19 and seniors in high school have been getting much deserved and overwhelming support from the community, but what about the young adults in between? Today we get to hear from an 8th grader who has been dealing with life gracefully during this craziness. Come join our conversation as we talk about responsibility, expectations and unknowns during COVID-19 from a middle schoolers perspective. Coming from a Christian and psychological studies background Rachel and Sarah often discuss topics that land in a grey area. We recognize that these conversations can be intimidating and lined with tension. However, we also recognize discomfort and growth go hand in hand. Come along for the ride as we grow and learn.
