Jason Thompson is from the Portsmouth, OH area. This is where pill mills first started anywhere in the country so he saw firsthand what opiate painkillers and ultimately heroin can do to a community as well as the greed of big pharma. Rising from the ashes of addiction he entered his recovery with vigor. The 12 step fellowship really helped him get into a life of long term recovery which is over 16 years. He has made a career in the behavioral health field. With a Masters degree in social work, he treats both adolescents and adults with mental health and addiction challenges.
