This week, we welcomed the District Superintendent of the Puget Sound District of the Pacific Northwest Annual Conference, the Rev. Mark Galang. In his sermon, he didn't flinch from the difficulty. Instead, he sat with the hard questions and found something we often miss: the climax of this story isn't Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son. It's God's refusal to let it happen!
