Today Chef Andres addresses the biggest fears regarding starting your own Personal Chef Business. Chef Andres posted a survey on FaceBook last week and found out that the number one fear is that Chefs feel that they do not have enough money to start their own business. In this episode of the Chefpreneur Podcast, Chef Andres discusses the actual numbers involved in starting your own business. For example, liability insurance can cost as little as $299 per year (of course depending on the state you live). In a subsequent survey, participants noted that they thought licensing would cost the most. Not true. Chef Andres debunks this myth as well in this episode of The Chefpreneur podcast.

Overall, Chef Andres believes that you can start a Personal Chef Business for around $500. That’s it! You can afford that. If you want to change your life in a major way, you can afford the $500 that it will take to get started. You don’t have to spend a lot of money on advertising or marketing either … you know that because your responses to the survey clearly indicate that you know you do not need to spend a whole lot of money on advertisements.
