From Her Street Corner Castle.....she rules.
Queen of the lonely hearts,
every disenfranchised,
unhappily married,
unwanted and unattractive,
peon seeks her chambers.
She draws their attention
like drone bees to perfume
their little stingers quivering,
then becoming giant jousting poles
mounted on a fine filly.
She commands their desires
with sultry looks and postures
snatching their flesh scepters
for a price, a pound of flesh,
flesh pounding in
staccato thrusts.
If she is enamored by
a certain peasant
she might just dally for a while,
if not she speedily
bids them release.
Like all good queens she
makes them feel special
when she is actually
their special one,
doing what their
own queens
of the nest
won't do at home.
She controls the night
a vampiress of the phallus
it pays her bills,
feeds her habits,
buys her fancy clothes,
whether through
Johnny-come-latelys
or wham-bam-
thank you-maa'ms.
She is their addiction
their heroin, their fix,
they provide the
thickened needle
and the impaling
but she draws
out their hunger
for something warm.
That rush of pleasure,
that ends with a
condom in the gutter
a handiwipe and then
she's off to tend
to her kingdom,
while they become
nothing more than a john
that's quickly flushed
from her mind.
She is Queen of the lonely hearts,
for every disenfranchised,
unhappily married
unwanted and unattractive,
peon who seeks her chambers.
