On Episode 86 of Bouncing Back, I interviewed Eugene Gao who was most recently a senior copywriter at Grey. This was also my 47th episode in partnership with The Avail List.

Eugene graduated from Miami Ad School and calls himself an “anthropologist by training, and a copywriter by trade.” He understands that life is too short to be an asshole, really wants to surround himself with people who will make him better, and appreciates writing as a craft.

Eugene likes making people laugh, knows that hard work and effort make the work better, and values empathy and compassion. His pipe dream is to become a filmmaker/director where he can create stories about his heritage and for POC. He’s also a writer who loves photography.
