Epiphany reminds us that we chose a lens to see the world and what is holy. The lens for our community this next season, is the lens of the remnant. Remant means, the left overs. It is the rubble of our buildings in Nashville. It is the wreckage of violence, pandemic, the last bits. Our work is not to turn away from the hardest things, but to look right into them and see where we find God in all of it. We are the remnant pieced together, bounded to love, and peace, and justice.
