There are robots that can play chess. But no robot (or A.I.) exists to go to a bookshelf, take out the board, and set up the pieces, then play the game. There are 3 kinds of A.I.

Machine Learning is an Artificial Intelligent robot that, without a programmer (human), it learns a behavior. We humans, have behaviors easily learned to replicate, then behave better.

Artificial narrow intelligence (ANI), which has a narrow range of abilities;

Artificial general intelligence (AGI), which is on par with human capabilities; or

Artificial super-intelligence (ASI), which is more capable than a human.

A.I. in movies:

A.I., iRobot, Ex Machina, Terminator

Artificial Intelligence increases our communication and influences what we read. Social media algorithms are a prime example of how A.I. can influence our thinking.

Thus the evil of social media and these A.I. = fake news.

Social Media has a machine, based on machine learning decides what gets shown 1st or at all.
