This week, the Boys are back on their NFL bullshit and take niiiiice long episode to give you just what you want: picks and discussion of every single Week 4 game while getting into rookie QB play so far, betting trends so far this year, and impressions of every team in the NFL up until this point.
The boys return from one of their many vacations to indulge themselves in something they love more than anything else: their own teams. Due to lack of research, Chase and Sid chat about the exciting, yet risky, offseasons the Bulls and Lakers had via free agency and the Draft. Then, with the NFL preseason in full swing, they talk about Justin Fields' confidence-inspiring first game, Jamal Adams' extension, and what hopes the Bears and Seahawks may have this upcoming season. Like, follow, subscribe as always, foolz.
The guys check in on the NBA playoffs early into the first round. DeAndre Ayton may be Chase's father unless AD goes off in Game 3. Also, Trae Young is the most hated man in the Tri-State area, and Knicks fans are making sure he knows it. Luka continues to outthink the entire Clippers team every time he's on the court, but has Box Seats figured out a way to stop him? Probably not....but maybe?
Future HOF QB Justin Fields is thoroughly and fairly evaluated by two objective fans. What characteristics will lead to him winning a super bowl in his first year? The fellas also break down the NFL draft and the overall irrelevance of the NFC East. Quick NBA predictions after the heading into the playoffs and was the 2015 Draft good?
The boys start with talk of the NBA All Star draft and this weekend's NBA festivities that no one wants to take part in. Then, there's lots of homer Illini talk as Chase and Sid ride the high of beating a one-loss #2 Michigan without NPOY candidate Ayo Dosunmu. Finally, they dive into Russell Wilson's "trade request" with talk of the best case scenario for the Hawks and Bears, how much it would take for the Hawks to trade Russ, and the potential fallout of the trade happening.
The boys ramble through a number of topics including losing bets on the Super Bowl, its impact on Brady and Mahomes' legacies, Illini basketball, Hornets being so much fucking fun, LeBron for MVP, cucking OJ Simpson, Brittany/Jackson Mahomes and sooooo much more. If you want a series of incoherent talking points, you've come to the right place. #Follow #Subscribe #Please
With heavy hearts after Drew Brees' reported retirement and the Packers moving on, the boys rally to give a recap of a wild divisional round complete with doinks, pick-sixes, and a Chad Henne appearance. Then, Chase and Sid bask in their own gambling success before giving out their bets on the AFC and NFC championship rounds this weekend. Fade us at your own risk but tune in for a consensus BOTY (Bet of the Year) on one of the four remaining teams.
The NBA will never be the same (or more of the same moving forward) after James Harden joined KD and Kyrie in Brooklyn. Then, the boys are fresh off losses in the wild card round and have to reconcile what the future holds for the Bears and Hawks. Finally, stick around for picks in this week's Divisional Round with four "stellar" matchups. (Sorry no music this time around guys)
The boys return from their two-month vacation to give the listeners what they truly crave: plays for super wild card weekend and legit breakdowns of all six weekend games. Da Bears and Hawks have made the playoffs which leaves Chase and Sid to reconcile their emotions ahead of this week and what the future may hold for them in tough matchups. Come for the takes, stay for the winners. Let's have ourselves a weekend! (Plus we actually have music this time around so there's that)
The boys are still on the race to 10 wins with Sid's margin becoming slimmer by the week as NFL Week 10 is upon us. Questions are answered like: does Chase think the Bears have a chance this Sunday, is the Ravens/Pats game just a higher form of Army/Navy, and has the MAC created peak football. Tune in to find out and prepare to double your units this week with a great slate ahead.
