Former boxing champion Joey co-founded the 18th Street gang, founded B.A.D (boxers against drugs) during incarceration after saving a female prison guard. He was incarcerated with Charles Manson, Sirhan Sirhan, and Former Aryan brotherhood leader Michael Thompson. Joey plans to continue his outreach speaking to youth about the dangers of drugs and gangs.
