A 12-year-old Melbourne schoolboy named Nathaniel was dragged 350 metres by a bus after his bag strap became caught in the rear door as he was exiting. The boy had to lift his legs to avoid being dragged along the road and narrowly missed several parked cars before the driver noticed and stopped. Ventura bus company has apologised and is counselling the driver, while the traumatised boy's mother says no safety procedure changes have been recommended.
