This week On The Record with Randy Beamer, we hear from Chris Maitre, CEO of the Brackenridge Park Conservancy, on how the renovations at the park are going, and how they plan to work around concerns over loss of trees and bird habitat.

Next, we meet Blaise Labbe, author of the new book “The Blessings of Forgiveness: The Healing Journey of Blaise Labbe”, who talks about colorism and the effects we are still seeing from it in our society.

Finally, on Reporter’s Roundtable, Randy talks with Madison Iszler, Business Reporter for the San Antonio Express News, about the new ownership of the iconic Lone Star Brewery. This is 5th new owner of the site in the past few years.  Madison discusses what could be different this time around, and what kind of challenges the long-abandoned brewery presents to the new owners.
