The patient at the center of the alleged abuse at the Whiting Forensic Division in Middletown apparently wrote letters about his plight, dating back to 2006.  Len Besthoff, the chief investigative reporter for the NBC Connecticut Troubleshooters, provided an update, during an interview with Brad Davis and Dan Lovallo.

Whiting is Connecticut's lone maximum security mental hospital.
