Illinois State Representative Brad Halbrook is leading a Resolution to re-establish a prayer room in the Illinois Capital Building. HR 495 calls for the creation of a Prayer room in the North wing of the Capital Building which is currently being remodeled. From 1982 until 2013 a prayer room did exist in the Capital, but was removed during remodeling in 2012.
