On today's 'BradCast':  Israel and Hamas have agreed to a cease-fire after 11 days of fighting that killed hundreds of civilians, including dozens of children. The U.S. House passed a resolution to create a Jan. 6 Commission with 35 Republicans joining the Democrats. The Congressional Republican leadership negotiated the bipartisan deal and then reneged at the last minute, ordering their members to oppose it while scoffing at the attack on the Capitol and the U.S. Capitol Police, revealing yet again the GOP  negotiates in bad faith. The measure must still overcome an expected Republican filibuster in the Senate. In California, Republicans are hoping a low-turnout election will boost their attempt to recall popular Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom. BRAD BLOG legal analyst ERNEST A. CANNING explains how a federal judge may have buttressed Newsom's case for addressing the state's homelessness and housing crisis. Canning discusses the case brought by a homeless advocacy group seeking federal intervention into the homelessness crisis in L.A. City and County, and the 'eye-opening' ruling that details the history of systemic racism and corruption in Southern California that has directly resulted in the crisis that disproportionately affects African-Americans. It's an insightful and maddening discussion of the horrors that have come to haunt all of us -- or, certainly should -- here in Southern California. Plus Desi Doyen has our latest 'Green News Report.'
