In a dramatic rebuke, House Republicans failed to get enough votes to proceed with their sham impeachment of Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas, after failing to produce any evidence of wrongdoing. Senate Republicans blocked a bipartisan border deal and foreign aid package that met their demands, after months of negotiations, on orders from disgraced ex-president Donald Trump, who wants to campaign on claims of a 'border crisis'. Trump is pushing out RNC Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel in an election year, blaming her for electoral losses. As part of a court settlement, fake GOP 'journalist' James O'Keefe quietly admitted he spread false claims lying about election fraud in Pennsylvania after the 2020 election.
