After turning down a $5 million offer as the number one overall pick in the 2015 draft, Aiken enrolled at IMG Academy for a postgraduate year in 2015, where he got hurt during his first start and needed Tommy John surgery. He would get drafted 17th overall by the Indians that year and sign for $2.5 million, but Aiken's career immediately nosedived.
