March is Brain Injury Awareness Month. The IYCSM project Director of Community Outreach, Melissa Earley is also a brain injury survivor. Melissa joins Erin to talk about life after brain injury and all of the complex factors that impact the life of an individual post TBI. In 2019 the NIH released a study indicating that 1 in 5 people who experience a TBI develop a mental health condition, most commonly major depression.
