Hi! Staying healthy includes exercising and diet, right?  The biggest grouse of all working women is that they have no time to exercise.  What with all the multi-tasking- cooking breakfast, getting the kids ready for school, packing in a full day at work, going out for dinner- where is the time to fit in a daily workout or even the occasional pilates, Zumba class?   Sure, they have a little downtime during the weekends, but how can they exercise when just the thought of putting on track pants and trainers tires them out?  But you know that?  That is simply no excuse.   NO matter how tight your schedule, exercise is something you have to make time for. the health of your career depends on it.

Seema Goswami's book summarizes the Boss Personality Types and dealing with that and finally summarizing it with the 10 golder rules to deal with your boss. 

1) Don't ever disagree with him/her in public

2) Don't bitch about him to a co-worker 

3) Don't be the person who is always pointing out problems in any given situation 

4) Don't go over his head unless you feel strongly enough of risk losing your job 

5) Don't ask for personal time off too often 

6) Don't promise more than you can deliver 

7) Don't threaten to resign unless you really mean it 

8) Don't carry tales of your colleagues to him 

9) Don't trade on your personal equation with him 

10) Don't get too pally with him

Not to abdicate responsibility just because it seems the easiest thing to do!  Play their part in their pantomime even if there are times when you feel that you are starring in farce.

Life as a working woman is tough- especially if you want to get to the top.  You have to work harder than most men and still be the one who runs the show at home.  You will be judged by your performance but how you look will also affect your grade! And don't forget the glass ceiling- it's still there and you will bump against it.
