Dave is a retired Navy vet of 25 years, a firefighter and an active member of the veterans community in Pittsburgh. He shares his story of service both in and out of the military. He shares powerful perspectives about how community engagement and storytelling play an important role in the healing process for veterans returning from war. Dave is also the president of the Warriors Hockey program, a national organization serving veterans and creating community through the sport of Hockey.
