Branden Buehler is an assistant professor in the Visual and Sound Media Program in the College of Communication and the Arts at Seton Hall University whose research centers around sports media, with a particular focus on sports television and sports media industries. On today's episode, Branden joins Aron to discuss his 2016 journal article Manufacturing "Football Realism" in the Studio Era, that focuses on Warner Bros. efforts to market their football films as having realistic football action. We also discuss the current state of sports media and how it could continue to change in the near future.
