The judges lauded his final product, calling it "One of the finest jars of liquor in the history of the show." His victory secured him a commercial run of his recipe at the renowned Sugarlands Distilling Company in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. In addition to his on-screen success, Buffington is also known as the owner of his own venture, Buffington House Fine Spirits.
